A mum-of-three has revealed how she built her own 'she shed' in her garden to use as a retreat to find peace and quiet without having to leave home.
Lesa Lambert, from the , created her own 'hobby hut' in the backyard - complete with a comfy day bed, bookshelves, bulk string lights, plants, stylish décor pieces and vintage 100 year old cottage doors.
'When I spend time in the shed it makes me feel relaxed and it's a great place to unwind - it's my own little sanctuary,' the 49-year-old told Daily Mail Australia.
'I'm in there all the time, at least five hours a day.'

The mum, who works as a visual merchandiser for a homeware company, said the idea to create a home away from home came to mind after a dream.
'I actually had a dream one night last year that I walked down the stairs of our house, out of the front door and to my own shed. I mentioned it to my husband, Greg, who is a concreter, the next day and he said "let's do it",' she said.
Ms Lambert said the shed cost her $12,000 to build on a concrete slab, measuring three metres by three metres - and the project took about one month to complete last year during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
'As we designed it, we had it custom-built by a builder,' she said.
'It's built on a concrete slab, beautiful and very whitewashed and well-finished. I wanted a gorgeous white polished concrete floor which my husband did and we sourced beautiful the 100 year old doors from an old cottage in Sydney.
'We wanted to do it properly as a valuable addition to the home. We think it's added an extra value of $30,000 to the house, so it was worth the investment.'
Ms Lambert said she uses the shed as a place to get creative and enjoy hobbies like making candles or upcycling furniture pieces. Sometimes she just wants to enjoy a moment's peace with a book and a glass of wine.
